About the Program

The Environmental Health Science Program is housed in the
Department of Biology. The Department has about 250 undergraduate students, including
environmental health majors, and 25 faculty members
offering an excellent student to faculty ratio.
Laboratory sections for all courses are limited to 24
students, and are taught by full-time tenured or
tenure-track faculty. This intimate learning
environment ensures that students get individual
attention from their advisors and classroom professors.
Our Program has a lot to offer. We encourage students
to get professionally involved outside of the classroom through
research, club and internship activities. These experiences make the difference when our
graduates compete for jobs and graduate school
opportunities. |
