Christine Butler, M.A.

Instructor

Haven Project Clinician

Biography:

Christine was born in Pennsylvania, but lived most of her life in Michigan.  She moved to Indiana in 1988 and returned to school.  She earned her B.A. in Psychology in 1996, and her M.A. in Counseling from IUP in 2003.  She worked at the Indiana County Guidance Center, the Alice Paul House, and the Open Door before taking her current position with the Haven Project.  She is not entirely new to the Counseling Center, having worked here previously as a graduate student.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, particularly to Michigan and Arizona where she loves playing with her daughters' little boys.  Christine's hobbies include quilting, reading, flower arranging, and watching old movies.
