Interests
In
general, my research interests are environmental and comparative toxicology,
and water pollution biology. Specifically,
I am studying the effects of water pollution such as acid coal mine
drainage on macroinvertebrate community structure. I
am particularly interested in water mite assemblages, and interactions
between water mites and aquatic insects. In
addition, I am beginning to study the effects of nitrate and nitrite
on the hematology of aquatic insects and the embryology of fish.
