Application materials can be obtained from the School of Graduate Studies and Research. Alternatively, prospective students are encouraged to apply online (www.iup.edu/graduate/admit/).
The prospective student must submit the following:
1. completed application form
2. one copy of an official transcript from each graduate and undergraduate institution attended (excluding transcripts from IUP)
3. two letters of recommendation from persons familiar with the applicant's academic background
4. a signed and dated goal statement indicating career and academic goals
5. TOEFL scores for students whose native language is not English
6. a $30 nonrefundable application fee
