URSA help

URSA is a secured self-service system that allows students, faculty and advisors, and staff to access personalized and online university services.   The IUP URSA system provides functionality delivered by Sungard Higher Education (Sungard HE) and customized applications developed by IT Services.  Access to the URSA system requires a Personal ID and PIN.   Students can obtain their Personal ID and PIN from the Registrars Office.  The Human Resources office can provide Personal ID and PIN to Faculty and Staff. 

The entry page http://old.www.iup.edu/ursa provides URSA related material and the access to the secured URSA site (click on the key). 

Getting Started:

1. Obtain your URSA Personal ID and PIN
2. Go to http://old.www.iup.edu/ursa - review site and click on the Key to enter secured area
3. Enter your Personal ID and PIN
4. Your PIN can be reset under the Personal Information menu / Change PIN
5. Navigate by clicking on the menu options and URSA tabs.  Avoid using the BACK and FORWARD browser buttons.
6. Take a tour of URSA (see below)
7. You are now ready to use URSA!

Tour URSA menu options for Students - view the URSA options available to all students (active, former students, incoming, etc.).  

Tour URSA menu options for Faculty & Advisors - view the URSA options for Faculty and advisors. 

Tour URSA menu options for Staff - view the URSA options available to all IUP employees.
