Institutional Advancement Mission Statement

The Institutional Advancement Division facilitates the understanding, participation, and support of Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s students, faculty, alumni, trustees, parents, friends, corporations, foundations, and legislators. The division, through its departments, staff, and volunteers, represents the University with the highest standards of excellence in education and service to a variety of publics.

The Institutional Advancement Division promotes leadership and involvement among individuals who support the mission and goals of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and are willing to volunteer to advance the university. The Institutional Advancement Division concentrates its efforts on improving student recruitment and private resource development for the University thus enhancing the quality of the learning experiences.

Inherent to the mission of the Institutional Advancement Division is a commitment by its personnel to be responsive to the various constituencies served by the University. In particular, emphasis is placed on professional, courteous, and responsive behavior toward students, parents, alumni, and other leaders upon whom Indiana University of Pennsylvania depends for support.

The Institutional Advancement Division carries out its mission through the following operating units:
