One
of the most significant experiences you can have during
your college career is being a member of our on-campus
residential community. Living on campus allows you
to easily meet and interact with peers, participate in
activities and university functions, have easy access to
university resources, gain leadership experience, live
in communities with students who share similar
educational goals, and make connections that will last a
lifetime.
IUP
has 13 residence halls and two apartment buildings that
house nearly four thousand students. Students may
choose from a variety of options for living on
campus--co-ed or single-sex facilities, intensified study
floors, academic specialty floors, and a community
service floor.
Services
such as CATV, utilities, and basic local telephone
service are included in the housing fee, Internet access, and voice
mail are optional for a fee.
Students
living on or off campus can select from a variety of
meal plans. Dining options include Foster's Buffet
Marche, Burger King, Bagel Works, Pan Geos, Umberto's
Deli, Bene Pizzeria, Cranberry Farms, and much more.
