Technology Resources

IUP is a nationally recognized leader in computer technology, and all students have direct access to state-of-the-art electronic resources. Students may build their class schedule, register, and monitor their transcripts electronically. Faculty members in nearly all academic disciplines and course levels use the computer, the Internet, and other electronic tools collaboratively with their students to enhance the breadth and depth of learning.

Each student is provided with local network access, Internet access, an e-mail account, space for personal Web pages, and individual on-line storage. To learn more about technology for students, see: www.iup.edu/technology. The university is expanding its offering of courses via distance education technology so students can take some of their coursework at their residence. A Student Help Desk and Student Technology Services staff members are available to assist students with their technology needs.
