What do you do when you'd like to be in more than one place at once? That's the dilemma facing most students on the IUP campus. Right at your doorstep, you'll find cultural and entertainment opportunities equal to those in much larger cities.

On any given night, you can choose from concerts, plays, art exhibits, dance performances, recitals, and other events -- presented by students and faculty or by well known artists, distinguished speakers, and big-name entertainers. For example, in recent years you could've seen Hootie and the Blowfish, Jane Goodall, Joycelyn Elders, Beverly Sills, Itzhak Perlman, Jesse Jackson, Jimmy Carter, Peggy Noonan, Willie Nelson, B.B. King, Harry Connick, Jr., Pauley Shore, Penn and Teller, the Gin Blossoms, Chuck Berry, the Dave Matthews Band, Adam Sandler, Tom Jones, Garbage, and the Beach Boys.

One more thing: Most events are inexpensive or free, and you won't have to fight crowds and traffic snarls.

See IUP's Central Calendar for a peek at what takes place at IUP during the fall and spring semesters.
