IUP
has one of the largest internship programs in the state
of Pennsylvania. During almost every academic year, more
than 1,000 IUP students accept internships across the
United States and abroad.
Depending on your major and your career goals, you might
find yourself interning for credit at a community
organization just across town; at the headquarters of a
fortune 500 company, in Chicago; at a New York ad
agency; in a congressional office or at the White House
in Washington, D.C.; at a museum in Rome; at a newspaper
in London; or at CNN or Walt Disney World.
And it all pays off after graduation: internships add
dramatically to your marketability as you begin your
career search.
