Transfer
Admission
Transfer students are an important part of the IUP
community. To be considered for transfer admission, you
must have attempted 12 or more college credits. To apply
for admission as a transfer student, you'll need to
submit a completed application, your high school
transcript, and official transcripts of all the
coursework you've completed at postsecondary
institutions. Transfer students with a grade-point
average of at least 2.0 (3.0 for teacher preparation
programs) will receive consideration.
The
Online Transfer Credit Equivalency
System may provide you with information regarding how
your credits could transfer to IUP. NOTE: This is
a reference tool only. Official transfer credit evaluation is established through the Office of
Admissions.
