  • Honors courses -- and most IUP courses -- are taught by university faculty, not graduate assistants or TAs.
  • Each course sponsored by the Honors College is limited to 20 students.
  • Each Honors College residence room is provided with a PC.
  • Graduates of the Robert E. Cook Honors College are recognized with a specific degree.
  • Honors College students receive priority registration.
  • Students may apply to the Robert E. Cook Honors College at any of three different points:
  • Early Decision (application deadline November 15)
  • Regular Decision (application deadline March 1)
  • Sophomore Transfer (application deadline March 1)
  • Each Honors College class has 100 students. The first Robert E. Cook Honors College class graduated in 2000.
