The School of Graduate Studies and Research requires
applicants to submit the materials listed below.
Some academic departments require additional application
materials. To inquire further about these additional
requirements, please contact the
academic department directly.
Applying to the School of
Graduate Studies and Research:
1.
Apply online
or complete a paper application form.
Request paper version of the application
2.
Submit official transcripts from each undergraduate and
graduate institution attended, regardless of whether or
not a degree was earned. If the course(s) or the
degree was completed at IUP, the applicant is not
required to secure the transcript, nor is a transcript
fee assessed.
3.
Submit at least two letters of recommendation.
4.
Submit a signed and dated goal statement indicating
career and academic goals.
5.
A nonrefundable application fee in the amount of $30.00
must accompany the application. The application cannot
be processed without this fee. Please pay by check
(indicating your Social Security number) and make the
check payable to IUP. Credit card payments may be
made by calling IUP's Bursar's Office at 724-357-2207.
