Federal Work Study Programs
(FWSP)
Through the Federal Work Study Program, graduate students may be employed for up to 20 hours per week when classes are in session and up to 40 hours per week during vacation periods. The
Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA) serves as the document for determining financial need for this program. A Federal Work-Study Application, which is available from the Financial Aid Office, must also be completed. Participants must be enrolled in a degree-granting program of study. Work-study jobs not only help defray the cost of education but can add valuable practical experience to the student's graduate education. Once financial eligibility has been determined, students are responsible for securing their own positions on campus.
