Academic Calendar
The IUP Culinary Arts curriculum condenses 2 years of study into 16
months. Students attend classes in Punxsutawney for
three semesters: Fall, Spring and Summer. The
fourth and final semester is a paid externship in the
industry.
Baking & Pastry Arts students (who previously have
completed the three semesters of culinary arts classroom
instruction) attend classes in the Fall and Spring.
Their final semester is a paid externship in the Summer.
All new students begin classes in the Fall
Semester.
