Indiana Campus, from the Northwest

Interstate 79 south to Rt. 422 east
Exit at Oakland Ave. (Rt. 286)
Turn left on Oakland Ave.
Proceed approximately 2 miles, past cemetery on right, until you see the university's archway. 

Driving Directions to Specific Campus Destinations

Parking Garage: Proceed straight, through intersection. Bear right onto Grant Street (1st right after the arch). Proceed half a block to parking garage entrance on left.  

Pedestrians should exit the garage on the third level to walk to the Oak Grove area (Ackerman, Cogswell, Clark, Leonard, McElhaney, Sprowls, Sutton, Waller, and Wilson halls, Stapleton Library, and Fisher Auditorium).

Memorial Field House, Miller Stadium, and Zink Hall are located along Eleventh Street.  From the garage, pedestrians should proceed right, down the hill along Eleventh Street.

Crimson Event Center (Olive K. Folger Hall): Turn right onto Maple Street at the traffic light in front of th earch. Proceed through the intersection at 11th Street. Olive K. Folger Hall is situated at the intersection of Maple Street and Pratt Drive. Enter the Crimson Event Center from Pratt Drive.

Memorial Field House, Miller Stadium, Eberly College of Business, Governor's Quad:  Turn right onto Maple Street at the traffic light in front of the arch. Turn right onto South 11th Street, and follow to the parking lot at the end of the street.

Hadley Union Building, Pratt Hall, Honors College, Breezedale:  Follow Oakland Avenue, keeping the campus on your right.  Turn right onto School Street and proceed a half block.  Turn right onto Pratt Drive to parking lot on the right.

Admissions, Sutton Hall, Fisher Auditorium, Waller Hall, Library:  Follow Oakland Avenue and turn right onto Grant Street.  Parking is available in the Parking Garage near the top of the hill.  Admissions Office visitors may use special visitor parking in the Clark Hall lot.  Proceed past parking garage entrance.  At stop, turn left onto Eleventh Street then take next right to parking lot.

Directions to Monroeville Center

IUP's Monroeville Center is located at 400 Penn Center, 9th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.

Directions from the East:
Take Business Route 22 West two miles past the Pennsylvania Turnpike entrance/exit. The Penn Center East complex will be located on the left (there are two traffic lights from which the left turn can be made).

Directions from Pittsburgh and West:
Take 376 East to the Business Route 22 exit.  Travel 22 East for 1 to 1.5 miles, and the Penn Center East complex will be on the right (there are two traffic lights from which the right turn can be made).

Directions to the Northpointe Campus of IUP (Armstrong County)

• Take Route 422 to Route 28 south (toward Pittsburgh).
• Go south about 9 miles to Exit 18 - Slate Lick.
• Take the exit ramp off Route 28.
• At the stop sign make a left turn.
• Cross over Route 28 and go about .2 mile.
• Turn left into Northpointe on Northpointe Blvd.

From the South

• Take Route 28 north (toward Kittanning).
• Go north to Exit 18 - Slate Lick.
• Take the exit ramp off Route 28.
• At the stop sign make a right turn.
• Go about .1 mile.
• Turn left into Northpointe on Northpointe Blvd.

• Continue North on Center Street for one block

From the Northeast (Scranton, Wilkes-Barre)

• Interstate 80 West to Exit 101 to DuBois

• Route 255 South to Route 219 South

• Route 219 South to Route 119 South

• Route 119 South to Punxsutawney

• Turn Right on Route 36 North at traffic light (Mahoning Street)

• After this light, proceed for three more traffic lights

• After third traffic light, go 3/4 mile and at Kwik Fil gas station 
  take a right onto Center Street

• Continue North on Center Street for one block

From the Southwest (Pittsburgh via Route 119) 

• Route 22 East to Indiana Exit (one exit beyond Blairsville)

• Route 119 North to Punxsutawney

• Turn left on Route 36 North at traffic light (Mahoning Street)

• Go 3/4 mile and at Kwik Fil gas station take a right onto
  Center Street

• Continue North on Center Street for one block

From the Southwest (Pittsburgh via Route 28)

• Route 28 North to Route 85 East at Kittanning

• 85 East to 210 North at Plumville

• 210 North to 119 North to Punxsutawney

• Turn left on Route 36 North at traffic light (Mahoning Street)

• Go 3/4 mile at Kwik Fil gas station take a right onto
  Center Street

• Continue North on Center Street for one block

From the Southeast (Harrisburg, Philadelphia)

• Turnpike West to Beford (Exit 11)

• Route 99/220 North to Altoona

• At Altoona, take Route US 22 West to Ebensburg-Exit 28

• Go approximately 10 miles and take PA 53 Cresson/Portage Exit
  to Ashville

• Go approximately 8 more miles to Ashville and take 36 North 
  at Ashville

• This will take you into Punxsutawney

• In Punxsutawney you will come to first traffic light.  Proceed straight 
  through 3 more traffic lights (4 total lights)

• After the fourth traffic light, go 3/4 mile and at Kwik Fil gas station take 
  a right onto Center Street

• Continue North on Center Street for one block
